Welcome to the official website of Patrick Norris.

I have been in love with the American West since the age of five when my grandfather put me on the back of a pony and my grandma put a western book in my hand called “Speedy “ written by Max Brand. Down through the years my favourite writers have been Max Brand, Zane Grey, Louis L’Amour, Luke Short, Frank O Rourke and my all-time favourite Ernest Haycox.

My books are modern but written with a feel for the old time western life style. The heroes are from now but they all have one thing in common. Their codes of living are a throwback to the old western way of life and the men and women who built the west.
